Your clothes go into an airtight compartment (or a removable vacuum-compression bag on some models). A one-touch compressor pushes the air out, flattening bulky items and freeing up to roughly twice the packing space. Press the button, watch it shrink, close it up.

Vacuum compression presses clothes flat rather than crushing them randomly, so folded or rolled items stay far neater than in an overstuffed bag. Delicate fabrics may still need a quick hang on arrival.

Every model comes with compression built in, so you’re always able to compress your load. The difference is how: some models include a separate electric pump in the box, while others have the compressor built directly into the bag with an on/off button, so no separate pump is needed.
